Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams is an American actor and producer. Williams was born on April 13th, 1988. Because of her role in horror films Williams has been described as one of the most terrifying people in media. Her first role was as Marnie in the comedy-drama series HBO's Girls (2012-17), for which she received an award from the Critics' Choice Award. In 2017 she was nominated in both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In the film Get Out, starring Rose Armitage earned her a breakthrough. Her next roles were in films based on horror, including The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) that she also produced. Williams has the distinction of being the child, born and raised, of the former NBC Nightly News Anchor and managing Editor Brian Williams and TV Producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Williams has an older brother. Williams attended Greenwich Academy and New Canaan Country School. Williams attended Yale University, majoring in English. Williams was also part of the St. Elmo and Morse College secret societies. Williams was also employed at an Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. She was also a member of the troupe improv comedy Just Add Water, for four years and acted for the YouTube series College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film, while Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. They both attended Yale. She graduated in 2010 at Yale with a English diploma.
